I have been accepted to a physician assistant program and.?

I am wondering what I should do this summer before I start. I am debating between attending one of the Summer Medical and Dental Education Program research sites or just taking additional elective courses.

do you think would be the most beneficial? Any elective credits taken would only count as elective credits and would not count towards my PA prgoram requirements because you have to actually be in a PA program to take PA courses.

Lower left side abdominal pain every 2 minutes, for 24 hours, increases with in-breath?

Ive been having this sharp pain in my lower left side of my abdominal. It started last night when I went to bed, and has not stopped yet, and is now.nearly 24 hours later. We did have some dinner guests last night, and had some Manicotti shells, pears and chocolate.maybe ate a little more than I should have, but not too bad.I did have a bowl of potato chips.which i dont have more than once a year, if that.I have a history of IBS symptoms, and this isn't the first time I have had this.and take Noritriptyline (sp?) but didn't seem to help.

to be a little worse when breathe in.

repitition of the pain (stabbing, dull) makes my breathing a bit faster, probably because im more focused on the pain, and the next stabbing sensation. No BM problems, so its a bit weird. Also, I had a low grade fever for past two days prior to that.just hot and sweating, but dont have any fever today.

Do Africans with the super white smiles we see on tv really have no dental problems?

If they really don't have dental problems then what's their secret, since they have basically no dentists there? I mean, what are we eating that ruin our teeth that they don't eat. I know they have sugar cane.

specific foods please.

lay, all the Africans I've seen from Africa have been on tv, and are always asking for donations because they have nothing there. If you are from a community where you had dentists then I'm happy for you.
