Okay. Dental History: Ive had braces before i have a bridge of “fake” porcelain veneers because i was born without my “eye” teeth.

two a half weeks ago I had some pretty serious cavity removal.

capped three of my teeth, and I think crowned one of them.

cavity was super deep. Aftewards, those three teeth hurt for about a week. Now, every morning, every night every afternoon different sections of my teeth hurt. It varies from 'toothache' type pain, to feeling like my teeth are moving.the pain gets so bad it gives me chronic headaches. I take two pain remover pills every 6 hours, and ive taken a whole bottle of aleve tylenol in the past week collectively. I have a dentist appt.

week.and ive been using Sensodyne because they are so sensitive! [keep in mind these are the teeth that WERENT worked on.

dont hurt anymore.] I also SEVERLY clench my teeth every night, i wake up with a headache/jawache every morning.

the deal? What can i do!

I'm currently attending a city college in san francisco and my main major is nursing. I won't be completing the nursing program for a while so I'm wanting to do dental hygienist in the meantime. my school offers a dental assistant program [2 years] is this the same as dental hygienist? also what do dental hygienist wages start at?

Hi I just got my braces fit today but there are a few problems. Firstly, I have an overbite, so the braces affect how I eat.

molars at the back don't seem to touch each other.there's around about a 2mm gap.will this close up eventually? Secondly, the metal is scrapping on my tongue and it's unbearable!! The cheeks are feeling fine at the moment. Do I just put dental wax near the tongue? Will this feeling of being scraped on the sides of my tongue go away? Thanks in advnace

I was drinking from a glass and wasn't paying attention, I went to take a drink and BAM it hit right on one of my front teeth. It's a very small chip but it feels very weird when I try to eat things like rice, pasta, etc. It's not even noticeable but I want to eat these foods without the annoying tooth being in my way, do I need to see a dentist? Or is it too small to fix?

I've noticed lately that my gum line on top has been getting higher and on the bottom, lower.

tooth on top is so sensitive now because the gum went so high, the root or some nerve is exposed at times, so I can't swish anything cold and have to be careful when drinking cold drinks or it hurts like He77. I think it was just the mouthwash(generic whitening brand I tried), but it started to make my gums string up or something.. nothing where it hurt, but I could feel it the pieces and it was just nasty I haven't used that mouthwash and that went away and my gums look better and no more “Tearing” up. I brush 2-3 times a day, chew gum, no bad breath or anything, no bad tastes. I'm scheduling an appointment with my dentist, but I'd like to have an idea of what this could be and how they could fix that tooth problem. I'm wondering it has to deal with me having braces, but they got taken off when I was 17, I'm 21 now.

I'm curious to see how many people actually do this. If so did you start because it was vet recommended If you don't what are you doing to maintain dental health Some members of my family think its crazy.

I do brush my dogs teeth 2 times a week, with seven dogs thats a lot of brushing. I started a few years ago when I fostered a Papillon for a local rescue. He had severe gingvitis plenty of root showing on his teeth.

dog was only 3 the vet pulled 8 of his teeth.

does anyone know natural cure for gingivitis herbs etc?

yesterday I went to my dentist and I got surgery in my mouth. I have some 'dressing' on my upper teeth and I got stitches. I am scared to brush my teeth so I didnt brush my teeth yesterday at night or today in the morning, and i feel digusting! They said I can rinse my mouth with some alcohol free mouthwash but I am still scared that its going to hurt and Iam going to see my nast stitches! I dont want tog et gingivitis! What do I do? And do you think I will get gingivitis? what are signs of gingivitis? My doctor said I can brush very gentle the day after my surgery, but I havnt yet.Im just scare of seeing the nasty stitches but Im just going to do it. THANKS!
