How do you treat gingivitis at home?

It's only in one spot in my gums, between 2 top molars.

gum there is sensitive, painful and itchy. It's been 2 days, i've been brushing and flossing and using listerine. Do I have to go to the dentist? I just don't have enough time to go, so been trying to get rid of it at home.

should I do? Thanks

Bad Omen.?

After school I volunteer at the Red Cross (each year students at my school are required to do 30 hours of service a year to pass, 35 for a D, 40 for a C, and so on until 50 for an A). Currently I am being certified in CPR and using an automated external defibrillator.I was there today for another session. I started compressions as normal and then gave the rescue breaths.

as soon as I began to give the next cycle of compressions, the dummy's head fell off! It just plunked on the floor and there was a huge crack in the back of it! Not to be superstitious or anything (more humor than anything else, I hate superstitions), but this just might be a bad omen.

do you think? Would you be comfortable with me giving you CPR after this 'adventure'? XD for p.graph and Juan! I'm just thinking you wouldn't really care for it if I knocked off your head while giving CPR. 'Rescue breaths' are fine by me ;)

Do you have halitosis?

What about anyone you know–do they have halitosis? :)

How often should I take Amoxicillin for my Abscess? [ie. 6hrs? 12hrs? 24hrs?

I was prescribed Amoxicillin by a dental surgeon that I was referred to by my dentist, since my dentist couldn't perform the surgery with the abscess in the way.

to my age the dental surgeon didn't give me surgery, but instead prescribed me this pill, the amoxicillin.

prescription says every 12 hours, but people are telling me every 6 hours I should take a dose, but I'm not sure if I should do that. Also, some of my friends family recommend that I do poke the bubble inside my mouth and let the bacteria drain, which is something I need a professional to answer. Plus, I have an ok metabolism, and from what I hear, your metabolism effects the time it takes to take effect to the bacteria inside. So.

I take the amoxicillin at a faster rate than I'm doing right now [currently:every 12hrs]? Should I poke the bubble and drain the puss? What should I do?
