I've always been curious why when my sinuses are acting up, my gums itch and become red. It's really irritating, and is causing my gums to recede at a young age (25) because they get so inflamed and I can't stop mouthwashing when this happens. It's always been this way, and I have always had impeccable oral heath habits so it isn't gingivitis.

on earth is the connection here? Do I have a crossed nerve between my sinuses and my gums? It's been happening since childhood, so it can't be the mouthwash.

running my tongue over my gums constantly while they are flaring up has something to do with the recession.

anyone, ever experienced bad breath and nothing seems to help, not the dentits, moutwashes, home remedies, brushing ,flossing or all the mints /sprays. help

my gums are swollen where my wisdom teeth is i have had one removed but i need the one that is impacted to be removed. i have no money how long will my teeth stay impacted will it get worse.

me to get my tooth extracted cost 300 dollars i don't have the money and cannot borrow from anyone. it does not hurt just feels swollen. my state (ga) does not have any dental schools near me and they don't have any clinics that extract wisdom teeths i have to go to a oral surgeon.

lastnight I was in the worse pain imaginable.I felt the tooth pulsating.sharp pain..and well this morning I just couldn't bear the pain.called the dentist.answering service said go to ER.and my left arm was getting weak with every sharp pain.needless to say they said.what started as a minor infection had lead to an abscess.because the infected tooth wasn't treated.again I'm talking only 2days.I would rather have a c-section again..than feel this pain.the side of my mouth this morning had a small lump (abscess)and now looks like I have a large golf ball.on meds now..they gave me a temp block on that side of my face to stop the pain.and the word pain is an understatement..I now have penicillin..tramadol..and naproxen..how long does this take to start going down.it seems to be getting worse then this afternoon.now I feel the pain under my chin (glands)..which hurts to touch..on top of all this..I now have I guess pockets of puss (yuck)in different places I get regular visits 2 times yearly..and have good teeth..so don't understand the cause.I hear horror stories on here about the airway closing etc.can't get to the dentist til monday.should I listen to the ER and wait before returning.or go back asap a couple days ago.I did make my dental app for Tuesday.had some leftover antibiotic Amoxicillin with Clav tab 875 mg..had wisdom tooth removed which got infected after removal..so all together been on antibiotics a couple days.can't you just make the damn thing bust.I know this is sick..but omg..having kids doesn't compare to this..ty for all the help..i do greatly appreciate it the 1st antibiotic was from a couple months ago.when the wisdom teeth were done.they had actually given a refill of one time..so since I couldn't see my dentist til Tuesday..I went ahead and took the amox..hoping it would prevent something like this not sure it the pockets have even puss in them..they are appearing in the inner cheek on the left side..where the abscess originally started.you can't see fluid in them..maybe it's just the swelling.uncle said use warm compress..and that only made things worse Robin..it's in the lower left side..you're right..when it comes to myself..I tend to slide..but right now..I have a baby with croupe and it's 3:30am..nobody to care for the 3 kids.and my husband is out of town..so I'm now sitting here trying a tea bag..to help draw out the infection..not sure if it works.we'll see..he gave the penicillin.cuz I was already using the amox..but that didn't help.I have a very weak stomache as it is when it comes to meds.I was soooo sick from the amox.all this from a filling coming out.geeezz.I doing the ice you suggested next www.myhomeremedies.com you're so swt.my husband offered to come home.but there's a family member that's very ill.doesn't have long to live.so of course I said no..I'll be ok..trying not to let him hear the pain..that's my luck.have this happen when he's gone you seem to have knowledge of the home remedies..I'll try them..the ice helped..at least between the 2.I can the tears..trying to hide that to..don't want my toddlers to worry
