My boyfriend complains of these little white pieces of matter that comes out of his tonsils. He uses a straight pin to open up the flaps on the tonsil to get them out. He swears up and down that if he doesn't get them out he will have problems.

is that? Also, I felt like I had really rank breath, so while brushing my teeth I felt a tiny “ball” in the back of my throat. I make myself gag it up and it was a little white ball of matter. It looked just like my boyfriend's nasty stuff. It smelled really bad too.

I am on cipro for a bladder infection, however I just noticed that my gums feel swollen and red and that it could be possible that I have gingivitis.

the cipro treat that too? Cause I want all the medication to reach the bladder, not the gingivitis. Or is gingivitis even treated with antibiotics?! NO i dont want to treat the gingivitis now.

im NOT taking double the antibiotics! im just hoping that all the cipro medicine will reach my bladder!

I brush many times per day, floss, use mouth wash.all temporary fixes.

Everytime i brush my teeth my gums (particularily where my two front bottom teeth are) start to bleed.

has happened before if i flossed but that to me was much more normal. Admitedly i floss much less often than i should, but know that the bleeding is not from flossing as i have not done that in like a week. I havent been able to brush my teeth in over a week without spitting out a mouthful of blood. I have good hygiene and it isnt gingivitis, but am wondering what could be causing this! I didnt start using a new toothbrush or anything either.

I get the whole bad breath part, but can it make you sick?
