Well, the title pretty much says it all, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I brush and rinse and gargle with Listerine twice a day (morning and night) and I floss once every other day. I'm pretty agressive with it, too. I know I do a good job. However, unless I've just brushed and flossed and such, my breath becomes sour smelling. It can be pretty bad. ESPECIALLY when I wake up in the mornings. Also, throughout the day this (white?) film forms in the corners of my mouth, but it's not a lot.
sleeping my lips, the corners of my mouth, my teeth, and gums are covered in (what I'm assuming is) the same thing. I drink water periodically which helps keep the stuff from forming, and I chew mint gum, which helps with that and the smell. I don't really know if any of this is normal or not.
I fix this? Oh, I think I may have a very mild form of gingivitis. My gums are a little puffy, but it's not really bad, and I've been more agressive lately and the puffy-ness has decreased
