I'm recovering from gingivitis but still noticing blood when I brush?

I went to the dentists last week and he told me that my gums were recovering nicely from the gingivitis he had diagnosed a few weeks earlier. However, I’ve noticed some bleeding today and yesterday when I brushed my teeth. I did have quite a lot of sugar today, which can’t have helped. I looked at my gums but I can’t tell where the blood is coming from.

inflammation is going down, but is still present. I’m brushing/ flossing etc, so is this normal? I’ve bought a soft brush and I’m going to be more careful in the future.

any inflammation (mild or severe) is still inflammation. it still causes the bleeding. it helps that you brush and floss.and it will help you more that you give your gums a massage (use your pointer finger and massage your gums by doing a circular motion) and eat fruits. i hope that the inflammation will subside soon–just maintain your good dental habits.

    right.

NANCY, THE BLEEDING WILL COMPLETELY GO AWAY AND WITH PROPER CARE AT HOME YOU WILL KEEP IT FROM RETURNING.
